Norsk Mountain Farm Wheaten/ Blue Wheaten/ Splash Ameraucanas are large fowl. I fell in love with this color and breed when I saw them at the NC State Fair. I love the sky blue egg color and beautiful cream and blue colors in the hens. We were lucky to find quality stock in early in 2019. We were seeking to added a blue layer to the breeding program and a sweet bird. Winston and his ladies have been outstanding. They are sweet and easy to handle while being beautiful. We are working to keep a sweet bird while working to improve our birds to meet the APA (American Poultry Association) Standard of Perfection. In 2020, We added an new rooster Westie and a flock of darker blue layers. The flock is PT and AI clean. We are NPIP certified and we will glad provide paperwork. We will have chicks starting in the middle of March and hatching eggs are available now. Hatching Eggs are available for $7 each or $65 a dozen for local pick up or can be shipped for $75 Priority Mail or Add Express (overnight) for $20. I can also add the handle with care for $11. Chicks are $12 each up to 5 and then they are $10 each (for 6 or more) local pick up only. We normally have chicks from the middle of March-August. Hatching eggs are available Feb-October. We remove all the roosters in mid October to allow the hens a winter break.
