The reason I chose to breed Swedish Flower Hens (SFH) is that they are friendly like Orpingtons, Colorful like no other single breed and sweet as the day is long. I work hard to pick and breed the best of my birds. My hens are picked for being healthy, happy birds that meet my expectations for what a SFH is. Being that SFH are a landrace breed they do not have a set standard, but should be a well round and healthy bird with flowers (two tone coloring). My number one goal with all my birds is a healthy bird first and then a bird that shows off the best of the breed. This is important for producing quality birds that are fun in the backyard and produce you beautiful eggs for years to come. Some of the sweet mothers to your chicks are below.
